The New Year brings good news for ladies with the arrival of obstetrician and gynaecologist Dr Leneque Lindeque at Alberlito Netcare Hospital in Ballito.

Dr Lindeque, head girl and Dux student of Danville Park Girls’ High school in1998, has returned to her origins.
After finishing school and excelling in sport, academics and culture, she went on to study medicine at the University of Stellenbosch.
Leneque was happy to be appointed at Mc Cord Hospital as intern in Durban and went on to do her community service year at Mseleni Hospital in northern Kwazulu Natal.
Thereafter she went to New Zealand for a year and worked at Whangarei Base Hospital, Northland on the north island.
On her return she started specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology at her Alma Mater with a passion to help and care for women. During this time she also went for training in Amsterdam, Holland to get more familiar with the process of endoscopic surgery.
After she qualified as specialist, she continued in the academics as a consultant at Tygerberg Hospital for two years to lecture and consult.

In 2013 she started her private practice at Highveld Mediclinic Hospital in Mpumalanga.

Dr Lindeque is now happy to return to the warm ocean and sugar-cane -land of KwaZulu Natal. Leneque is fully bilingual, has a caring and charming personality and her great sense of humour always helps to put her patients at ease. She is passionate about the holistic care of her patients and an ambassador of normal delivery and breastfeeding.
Daughter of famous cartoon artist the late Len Lindeque of Len se Pen, she also has an artistic flair which is apparent in the interior design of her practice. She was one of the top art students in Natal at school, sang in the Natal Youth Choir and toured overseas. She is also an avid public speaker and still paints in between delivering babies and encouraging her patients.
She enjoys cross fit, swimming and cycling and spending time with her family and friends.
